Adopt a Long-Tailed Macaque

At the Umah Lumba center, we rescue many species. Long-Tailed Macaque (Macaca fascicularis) is an endangered species that we see a lot of cases. After rescue, the monkeys often arrive in a terrible state- many of them are underweight, have broken tails, injuries from chains or are sick. The recovery and rehabilitation process usually takes one year.

Our team spends months exploring nature to find suitable release sites, and in recent years we were able to release dozens of monkeys in protected forest areas.
